Here’s how it works: The vacuum pulls in debris and dirty water into a 5-gallon holding tank, where waste is collected before the system automatically shuts off and drains the dirty water out through the additontial 8 ft discharge hose to your grass or proper drainage area. After that, please contact us and we'll help you file a claim with the manufacturer if it pertains to their warranty. All damage claims are handled directly by our manufacturers.

Our manufacturers' return policies are between 7 to 30 days. Unfortunately, if the manufacturer's return policy time has gone by or if it is not applicable we won't be able to process a return for you. Honestly Feels Like I Hired a Professional Service

I don’t usually leave reviews this long, but this thing deserves it. I’ve owned my pond for about 4 years now, and cleaning it has always been the one part I dreaded the most. Between the sludge buildup, leaves, fish waste, and just general debris, it always felt like a never-ending job. I used nets, I tried a cheap pond vac before, and nothing really worked the way I wanted it to. I was either spending hours doing it manually or constantly stopping to empty tanks and deal with clogs.

This Matala Pond Vacuum II completely changed that experience for me. The biggest thing that stood out right away is the automatic fill and drain cycle. I didn’t fully understand how much of a difference that would make until I actually used it. You literally just move the vacuum head along the bottom of your pond, and the system handles everything else pulling in debris, cycling, draining, and restarting. It keeps the workflow going without interruption, which makes the whole process feel smooth and efficient instead of frustrating.

The suction power is also much stronger than I expected for a unit in this size range. It pulled up thick sludge, decaying leaves, and even small pebbles that were stuck in the bottom. My pond has never looked this clean without me draining it completely. The water clarity improved noticeably within the same day.

What really surprised me is how much time it saved. What used to take me 2–3 hours of effort now takes me about an hour, and it’s way less exhausting. It genuinely feels like I hired a professional cleaning service, except I did it myself. If you’re on the fence about this, I can honestly say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made for my pond.
